The Education Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Students with Disabilities (STEM) has been launched by the Department of persons with Disability under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Government of India from this academic year. Under this scheme, 100% deaf and 100% blind
students with disabilities will be covered. For this, students with above types of disabilities who are studying from class 9th to 12th but are not receiving any scholarship or stipend can benefit from this scheme. The students who Specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, and student should have fixed admission in this subject. Under this scheme Rs.1.50,000/- (Rs.one lakh fifty thousand)
