    Orientation Programme on Disability Sensitization and Accessible Communication for Railway Frontline Workers

    An interactive *Orientation Programme on Disability Sensitization, Accessibility, and Communication with Persons with Disabilities* was successfully conducted at the **DRM Office Conference Room, South East Central Railways, Nagpur**.
    The program was inaugurated with an introduction about CRC Nagpur and the National Institutes by **Shri Prafull Shinde, Director, CRC Nagpur**.
    **Mrs. L. Anuroopa, Assistant Professor (Speech & Hearing)**, delivered sessions on the **Types of Disabilities, the Rights of Pwd’s under the RPwD Act, 2016**, and **Accessibility & the Accessible India Campaign**.
    A **Basic Sign Language Training** session was conducted by **Ms. Suman, Deaf Instructor**, which enabled the frontline railway staff to learn simple and effective signs to communicate with deaf and hard-of-hearing passengers.
    The program received **high appreciation and positive feedback** from the participants and officials.
    A step forward toward building an inclusive and accessible railway service for all!
